PROJECTION SLIDE REVIEW

Projection x 3 - home theatre center - interior screens (1 plasma, 1 portable)  plus projection through window glass

Imagery can, in fact be projected on and through window glass with interesting results. However the projector must be angled in a particular way to avoid the intense glare of the reflective light or the projector light itself piercing through the glass. Caution must be exercised to make certain that the projector light or the reflective light is not accidentally aimed at the eye level of children or adults.

Entertaining at home for special occasions and celebrations is greatly enhanced with theme or story-related projection imagery that welcomes guests as they enter a room. Add a live-camera feed (w/projection) and everyone becomes part of the moving visual feast.

Over the past five years - my projection-based designs have appeared on standard and translucent screens, and flat panel monitors; in addition to other surface material including plastic film, mylar, foam core, glass and different types of fabric; as well as directly on interior walls in galleries, studios, theaters and private homes; plus the exterior facade of various buildings and some trees, benches and a cedar playset in a park.

Video art installations are no longer exclusive to public venues. Video art - considered by many as part of the 'visual art form'  - is now included in several privately owned art collections.
